University Advising for Students

College admissions counseling that celebrates your authentic self, and prepares you for the next phase of your journey.

Did you know that only 12% of independent counselors have actually worked in a university admissions office?

I have worked in 5! And I have been incredibly fortunate in my admissions career to have traveled all over the US and the world to meet students. I have read thousands of applications, and been part of admissions committees at multiple institutions - from large public and private R1 research institutions to highly selective liberal arts colleges. I have even taught classes on college advising for Syracuse University and the University of Pennsylvania.

And there is one thing I know for certain: every student has a unique story to tell, no matter where you live or what circumstances you come from.

It is that story that a university wants you to share through the application process.

An admissions officer is a community builder creating a lively, diverse campus that is just waiting for YOU to come and make your mark.

This process can feel mysterious, confusing, and stressful. And preparing for it goes beyond getting a good standardized test score, taking a lot of advanced classes, or writing a compelling essay, especially with tools like AI at your fingertips. (Though certainly I can help you with all of these things!)

Looking for a university home is also about finding the right place to prepare you for the next stage of your life journey... and I don’t mean knowing what career you’re going to end up in a few years.

I look forward to helping you find the right university where you get to write the next chapter!

A proprietary test prep program proved to have increased student ACT composite scores by an average of 3 to 5 points.

What does that mean for you? Increased admissions probabilities and more scholarship dollars.  It really is as simple as that.

How Does It Work?

  • Four-six week self-guided online program that is customized to your students strengths and weakness on the ACT

  • After your student takes a diagnostic pre-test (which we provide), our proprietary algorithm identifies the best path to increasing their ACT 1, 3, or 5 points.

  • Each Stress Free ACT program includes:

    • A pre-ACT diagnostic test

    • One-on-one analysis and diagnostic report of pre-test results
